This is cute… but I don’t feel like cochlear implants are something people should be so adamant about pushing on the Deaf community. Being Deaf isn’t a disease or really a disability. I understand that for Hearing families, it may be easier to go with the implants.. But they are so risky and if they aren’t done early enough, it can take a long time and years of therapy to adjust to hearing noises. The Deaf community is a very accepting and understanding one. People shouldn’t be ashamed of it.
